Even amidst a global pandemic the folks at Oakmont Auto Care are persistent in their pursuit of exceptional customer service. Thursday morning I attempted to start my vehicle and to my surprise the battery was completely drained disabling even auxiliary power. With no way to jump the car myself, considering my wife's car is incompatible with mine, I called James at Oakmont for some help in a desperate time. Within 30 minutes James had arrived to jump my car and I was able to drive it to the shop where they performed a full inspection of my battery assuring its reliability. Oakmont had replaced my battery a few months back and, to their credit, they felt a sense of obligation to check up on their work and take care of me as their customer. This impressive and neighborly service is truly indicative of the mindset this business has built its foundation on: Personalized and honest service of the highest quality. If you are in the area and have any issues whatsoever with your vehicle don't think twice about ringing the bell at this shop.

This is the first review I’ve ever written on any site anywhere and I can honestly say I’m truly happy to do so. I can’t express enough how great my experience was at Oakmont auto and more particularly with the shop owner, James. James was a true professional top to bottom from his friendly nature, his great attitude, and his honest workmanship. I never felt pressured, hustled, or scammed into having anything done to my car. James kept me updated with the status of the car, what it needed/didn’t need, and he even sends the diagnostic photos with details to your phone so you can make your own decisions around what needs to be done. James never talks above or below you , doesn’t make you feel dumb about your vehicle. He’s just honest and a real pleasure to do business with. Thanks James ! Amazing service!! I found out late on a Saturday afternoon that my car was failing the smog check due to a defective brake booster hose. I showed up unannounced at Oakmont looking for help. They took a look at my car within 2 minutes of my arrival, gave me an honest assessment and a very reasonable estimate. They got the work done quickly & the quality of work was excellent. We’ll be back.

I needed a 50k miles service performed on my vehicle and needed it done in one day. I called the shop to schedule an appointment and luckily James told me to bring it the next day. He even offered to show up early when I informed him that I start work before they open - but I ended up using their early check-in option which was super easy. James knew I was headed to work and inquired about my preferred form of communication. When James and his team got to working on my vehicle he gave me an estimate and his professional opinion. JAMES DID NOT TRY SELLING ME ANYTHING I DID NOT NEED. JAMES ALSO DID NOT USE LANGUAGE ANYONE WOULDN’T UNDERSTAND. When explaining his opinion James was not pushy and did not have an overlord type attitude, he simply explained his thought process. What I appreciated most about Oakmont is the RESPECT THEY GAVE ME AS A CUSTOMER AND AS A PERSON. Leaving my vehicle at the care of Oakmont Auto gave me peace of mind, knowing that someone was treating my vehicle with the care and attention to detail that I would if I had the time, resources and knowledge. HUUUGE BONUS was when I went to pick up the car and they had it washed, inside and out, and waxed. Granted: James explained that this was because I chose to get all the work I needed completed by them, breaking a certain price threshold – BUT this was still a very pleasant surprise, considering I desperately needed a wash and never mentioned anything to them. The cost was not necessarily below the average, but I’ve found exceptional auto care and parts come at a cost. But the treatment you will get from the Oakmont team is honestly priceless.
