James and his team are honest, reliable, and excellent when it comes to customer service! Needed to get an transmission oil and filter change and check the condition of the brakes for my Honda Accord 2014 which I haven't get it done since I bought. I discovered Oakmont Auto Care through google search and decided to give them a try after reading many of their glowing reviews. Welp, the people have spoken. I couldn't have asked for a better experience! Called and made an appointment on Friday afternoon for checking an transmission oil and filter change and check the brakes condition the entire process was quick and easy. James was really helpful and informative. Upon them doing a routine inspection, James informed me that my front brakes still have 40 % in good condition and recommended that I get them replaced for the next time when I do change oil. I left my car for an hour to get inspection and he callback within the hour estimated. Turned out, James informed me that my car don't have a filter to change and only needed to do oil transmission replacement. James suggested to leave the car overnight and ready to pick up on Saturday morning, but even better he was able to get the job done in the same night. I'm really impressed with the great service that I received here. Because of this great experience, I'll continue to come here to get my car serviced in the future. I’ve been going to Oakmont for a few years now to have my GTI serviced. It’s always been a pleasant experience, and James and his crew are more than helpful. Overall I really trust the business to keep my car in great shape and not offer unnecessary services.

This is the second time I used Oakmont Auto Care. James the owner, is a skilled mechanic and great person. Please help out their business as it is suffering during the pandemic. James, the owner, was referred by a smog transmission technician, when my car needed repair work. During that first visit James was very honest and showed me the issue with my car, and repaired it well. Recently, my car broke down, and I called James. He was responsive and offered to help right away. He offered a diagnostic service vs. replacing the battery. He gave me pictures detailing the issues before proceeding with repairs. Other auto repair services I use in the past have never provided that level of service! James personally wiped down the steering wheel and other areas his staff touched with Lysol before giving it back to me to minimize transmission of germs. He made arrangements to accomodate my work schedule, so we split up the car repair into 2 days. Overall, great auto repair facility!

Well, I came in to get a device installed and WOW - never thought the care and over the top extra service/help was possible. I can't say enough about the quality of all - personal assistance, work done on my vehicle and WAY beyond. The staff I personally dealt with were compassionate, and professional - I felt like I was the only client they had. (only saw the was not true!) Thank you and so much more James (and staff )
