Dirty fuel injectors can alter the performance of your car dramatically. Knowing and noticing these signs of a bad fuel injector and attending to them ASAP can save you a lot of trouble in the long run. Signs of a Bad Fuel Injector Rough Idling - If your car is faltering when you are at a stopped position, it can mean that your fuel injectors are overworked. You are also likely to undergo engine stalling when rough idling. Engine stalling is an abrupt drop in (RPMs) paired with a loud engine sound. Poor Gas Mileage - If you can barely reach the MPG manufacturers suggest for your car, you should probably check your fuel injectors.
