Initially, I was happy with the service and rated it a 5* but when my front axle disconnected from the differential because of snap clip installation error less than a week later, I was unhappy. James and Colin apologized for not realizing the inconvenience and repaired the failed part. They also offered to assist with towing after the fact. They are an honest shop and try to do their best. The final resolution was to my satisfaction.

Great experience with Colin and James. Professional and fun! No hard selling just the facts of what they recommend be done now and what could wait. I really felt like I could trust them. Highly recommended!

First Class Service!! I had a Coolant Leak. I called and was advised I could come over immediately for a diagnosis. I Brought our van into Oakmont Auto Care about an hour later and they were able to figure out where the leak was coming from. Which was a cracked radiator. I authorized the repair. They ordered a new one from a dealer. When it arrived the Manufacturer had “superseded” the original one with a later version. The later version was less than half the capacity of the original. Oakmont called me and recommended that I use an aftermarket one that actually has a slightly larger capacity than the original. I Tow a large trailer with the van and the “factory replacement” would not have worked on a hot day. This is the kind of knowledge and Service that is Excellent!! And So hard to find! These guys are Great!!

The guys at Oakmont were awesome, and did a fantastic job on my car. James was super helpful, and insightful about vw’s . Gave me a few ideas, to think about for future updates.

Colin at Oakmount Auto was professional and helped me do what was needed to get my truck ready for the trails. Would highly recommend.

Great service - fast and courteous! They fixed the A/C in my ancient Honda in just a few hours. Yay, now I won't be melting in the car in the summer commuting in hot CC County.
