Also provide free drop off/pick for the nearby BART station making it easy to drop off the car in the morning and pick up in the evening. They are my new go-to car repair and maintenance team!

I needed my regular oil & filter change along with my routine check up for my fluid & tired, when my check engine light came on. So I was in Oakmont Auto Care's area so I stopped in & James who I usually deal with was out so Colin came out. He hooked my car up to a diagnostic machine & took the reading's & said that he would have James contact me about what the next step would be. They were able to get my vehicle in the same week & take care of my routine maintenance & also diagnose & fix my car. I was injured at the time & both of my hands were wrapped up & had braces so they picked up my car & brought it back to me when it was done. To me that was going above & beyond normal service, because it was very hard to drive in my predicament. James always takes care of me when I go in & with the 2nd diagnosis it could have taken a long time to fix, they found it very quickly & the price reflected it. I always take both my wife's & my vehicle's to James Oakmont Auto Care, because there is no hard pressure to get everything fixed right then & they tell you want is important & if something is minor & can wait. They were very efficient, fast, friendly and fair with there pricing! When the CHECK ENGINE light came on I had them do a diagnostic test and also a visual inspection! So they could tell me if there was more then one thing wrong with my vehicle and what was priority! They came back with a rather small list considering I had been neglecting my vehicle for a while! I decided to get everything on the list done even though they told me I could wait on a couple things! The price was low enough and the peace of mind getting everything fixed was worth it! They went in early to start my car and it was finished around 11:30am quick turn around time! I also went there while I was out running errands when the light came on, had no ride home so they took the time to give me a ride home in there vehicle not mine and also picked me up when my car was ready so I didn't have to find a ride!
